Shooting Stars would like to extend its most sincere congratulations to Halls Creek program coordinator Haylee Rivers on her graduation from North Regional Tafe.
Earlier this month the Halls Creek local successfully completed her Cert III in Business, as well as her Cert III in Sport and Recreation.
A component of Haylee’s study began in 2016 in conjunction with the Shire of Halls Creek and Department of Sport and Recreation’s push to upskill and develop local people by sponsoring study placements in Sport and Recreation.
Shooting Stars Community Development Coordinator, Helen Ockerby, praised Haylee for her commitment and hard work.
“We couldn’t be more proud of the way in which Haylee has applied herself to this course,” Ockerby said.
“The ability to juggle her study with her workload as a Shooting Stars Program Coordinator is a wonderful example of her commitment to both our students, and her own personal development.”
“Haylee is a most valued member of our Shooting Stars family and we look forward to continuing to contribute to her growth.”
Haylee’s engagement with the local community in Halls Creek has played a key role in the success of the Shooting Stars program in the Kimberley Region.
Her leadership and strength within the town has grown immensely, and is testament to the sheer volume of work she has done to establish relationships within the community.
Congratulations Haylee, we are all very proud of you.
