Shooting Stars launched its program at Derby Primary School in late 2015, and in 2021 was successful in expanding the program to the Derby District High School to now empower participants from Years 3 to 12.

The dress design depicts the beautiful boab trees and spectacular sun setting on the marsh lands around Derby.
