Carnarvon

Shooting Stars launched its program at Carnarvon Community College back in 2016. The program now works with participants from Years 5 to 12. 

"Over the past seven years, Carnarvon has been consistently impacting the positive growth of the young women of the Gascoyne. I, Natalie Crossley, am an Aboriginal woman from the Jerrinja community on the South Coast of NSW. I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to work with Shooting Stars over the past three years, continuing on the already established foundations of the program, adding my own and the community of Carnarvon's culture to the program with our amazing team."

The design shows where the desert meets the sea. The name of the team - the Breakers - is significant to the story of the waves crashing on the beach.
