Give us a snapshot of what your day to day job consists of:

Engaging with our female students from Years 3,4,5,6 and interacting with them within the school and out of school.

 

What do you love most about your job?

Helping young girls to further their education and to develop into young, mature, respectful, young ladies.

 

How has working with Shooting Stars benefited you?

Shooting Stars gave me the opportunity to work with these young ladies to motivate them in their education (school attendance), leaning abilities within the classroom as well as sporting skills.

 

What attracted you to the role?

I wanted see more opportunities for the young ladies and to help them motivated their self to follow and achieve their goals and dreams in their lives.

 

Why are Shooting Stars important to the community?

Shooting Stars plays a big role in our community because we help and encourage the young ladies to attend school for their education, to set out small goals for themselves and to follow their dreams. Shooting Stars is also a safe haven for those young ladies with troubled backgrounds and up bringings.

 

How do you envisage the program evolving in the future?

There are a lot of young ladies that has a lot of talent and skills within the Shooting Stars Program that has the ability to make a name of themselves, whether it has to do with their career or sports. I see that Shooting Stars Program will help these young ladies to develop and guide them through the right channels in order for them to set their goals and follow their dreams.
