Carnarvon Awards Night

December 12, 2016

The soon to be annual Shooting Stars Carnarvon Awards Night was held on Friday the 25th of November in the Carnarvon Motel Function Room. Over 75 students, community members, parents, and school staff attended the event, for which our girls were given an opportunity to don their glad rags and partake in a fancy feast.

In terms of awards, we are very proud to announce that 27 girls received our high attenders (90% or over) award, while 12 girls received our attendance improvement (20% or more improvement over the year). We also awarded the girls for their leadership, consistency, and Shooting Stars spirit.

The Shooting Stars cups, which were awarded to our most outstanding members of the Shooting Stars community, were given as follows:

  • Most Improved Primary School – Jalannah Dodd
  • Most Improved High School – Angel Starr
  • Coach’s Award Primary School – Bryanne McKenzie
  • Coach’s Award High School – Matisse Delpino-Jones
